Ascher Goldstein
Ascher Goldstein, 88, of Monroe Township died April 6, 2012. Born in Shomorin, Czechoslovakia, he resided in Queens before moving to Monroe 12 years ago.
Prior to retiring, Mr. Goldstein was owner of a wholesale distribution business in Queens.
He was a congregant of Congregation Beit Shalom, Monroe Township.
He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Evelyn Starer Goldstein; three sons, Michael of Manalapan, Bruce of Belle Mead, and Steven of Las Vegas; his daughter, Mindy Goldstein of Sharon, Mass.; and six grandchildren.
Services were held April 9 with arrangements by Mount Sinai Memorial Chapels, East Brunswick. Memorial contributions may be made to the Henry Ricklis Holocaust Memorial Committee/Holocaust Commission, PO Box 6858, Monroe Township, NJ 08831.
