Barry Skolnick

Barry Skolnick, 71, of East Windsor died Dec. 13, 2013. Born in the Bronx, he resided in Brooklyn before moving to East Windsor 45 years ago.

Mr. Skolnick was a research and development chemist and developed the metalized film laminate for NASA that is on display at the Smithsonian Air and Space Museum. He held three patents in this field.

He attended Brooklyn College.

Predeceased by his daughter Elizabeth H. (Erik) Roessner, he is survived by his wife, Dolores Eagon Skolnick; his daughter Helen Skolnick (Daniel Goldsmith); and two grandchildren.

Services were held Dec. 16 with arrangements by Orland’s Ewing Memorial Chapel, Ewing.
