Beatrice Fink
Beatrice “Bea” Fink (Kupperman), 93, of Fanwood died April 18, 2020. Born in Newark, she was a longtime resident of Springfield.
Mrs. Fink was a bookkeeper at Kupperman & Sons, her father’s dry-cleaning business; Bayer; and Karnak Corporation over the course of a five-decade career.
She was a graduate of Weequahic High School in Newark.
She and her husband, Irwin, were involved in philanthropic causes that included Meals on Wheels and Jewish Federation of Greater MetroWest NJ. They were past members of Temple Beth Ahm Yisrael in Springfield.
Predeceased by her husband of nearly 60 years, and a daughter, Ellen Geller (survived by her husband, Robert), she is survived by two daughters, Ronnie Fink and Marcy (Joey) Del Mauro; four grandchildren; and a great-grandson.
Private graveside services were held April 23 with arrangements by Menorah Chapels at Millburn, Union. A memorial gathering to celebrate her life will take place at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to the NJ Pandemic Relief Fund or American Jewish Joint Distribution Committee to support Jewish elderly in the former Soviet Union.
