Belle Goldklang
Belle Goldklang, 93, of Livingston died Dec. 28, 2011. Born in Newark, she lived in Bayonne and then in Teaneck before moving to Livingston 16 years ago.
Mrs. Goldklang had been a business partner with her late husband, Norman, in the operation of Goldklang’s Appliance City, Bayonne.
A past president of four PTAs in Teaneck, she had been active with Temple Beth Shalom in Livingston, as well as the Jewish Center of Teaneck. In addition to supporting Hadassah, the Jewish National Fund, and Israel Bonds, she celebrated her adult bat mitzva at age 91.
Predeceased by her husband, she is survived by two sons, Marvin and Gerald; her daughter, Joyce; two sisters, Gladys Barnhard and Marilyn Chaiken; 13 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
Services were held Dec. 30 with arrangements by Bernheim-Apter-Kreitzman Suburban Funeral Chapel, Livingston. Memorial contributions may be made to Magen David Adom or Hadassah.
