Bertha Sourifman
Bertha Sourifman (Green) of West Orange died April 16, 2013. Born in Newark, she resided in Hillside before moving to West Orange 28 years ago.
Mrs. Sourifman attended the Newark Middle School for teachers.
She was active with the JCC MetroWest in West Orange, Sarah Slifer, and Pioneer Women.
Predeceased by her husband, Leo, she is survived by her daughter, Karen (Stuart) Gladstone, and her son, Stuart (Kathy), both of Livingston; two brothers, Harry Green of Davie, Fla., and Phil Green of Springfield; four grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
Services were held April 18 with arrangements by Menorah Chapels at Millburn, Union.
