Beverlee Fisher
Beverlee Fisher, 72, of Ocean Grove and Short Hills died Aug. 13, 2013. She was formerly of Livingston.
Mrs. Fisher was the principal of Beverlee Fisher Designs of Short Hills. She closed the doors of her interior design business in 2000 after 20 years, beginning a new career. She acquired and rehabilitated homes in the same communities she previously did design work in. She acted as general contractor, utilizing the talents she learned as a designer. Most recently, she assisted her son in his architectural practice.
Predeceased by her son Robert, she is survived by her husband, Herb; two daughters, Dara Dubinet and Marjorie Scherr; two sons, Daniel Dubinett and Steven Fisher; a sister, Susan Stier; and seven grandchildren.
Services were held Aug. 15 with arrangements by J.L. Apter Memorial Chapels of Maplewood.
