Book club on January 7

Raritan Valley Hadassah starts a new book club on Sunday, January 7, at 1 p.m., at a private home in Highland Park. The first selection is Ruth Calderon’s “A Bride for One Night.” Dr. Calderon, a secular Israeli professor of Talmud and former Knesset member, brings stories about women from the Talmud and then creates her own version with details from her imagination.
