Clark synagogue to honor community leaders
Temple Beth O’r Beth Torah of Clark is hosting a L’Chaim Gala on November 2. It’s in honor of leaders who have made a significant impact on the Jewish community of Union County.
The honorees are pulmonologist Dr. Adam Rowen; Barbara Rowen, former Hillside mayor; business and community leaders Howard and Orit Kastner; Tom and Barbara Faria of the Featherbed Lane School; Assemblywoman Annette Quijano (D-20), and the synagogue’s past presidents.
“Our honorees exemplify the very best of who we are,” said Rabbi Steven Stern, of Temple Beth O’r Beth Torah. “These are individuals whose leadership, dedication and tireless service have enhanced our synagogue life as well as the well-being of the greater community. It is our great privilege to recognize their efforts.”
