Comedy in South Orange

Comedian Olga Namer grew up in an Orthodox Jewish home in Brooklyn. Her upbringing shaped the perspective she brings to the stage.

On Wednesday, July 23, at 7:30 p.m., Ms. Namer will join comedians Meghan Hanley, Mia Jackson and Laura Patton, for “Ladies of Laughter” at the South Orange Performing Arts Center in South Orange.

Ms. Namer performs regularly at West Side Comedy Club, Gotham Comedy Club, and the Comic Strip in Manhattan. She is working on developing a comedy hour about her life, drawing on where she comes from. Her style has been influenced by comedians including Sarah Silverman and Larry David.
