Deborah Searle
Deborah D. Searle (Berger), 63, of Livingston died Feb. 25, 2013. Born in New York City, she grew up in Jersey City and moved to Livingston.
Mrs. Searle specialized in pediatric physical therapy and finished her career working at Lake Drive School and Springfield public schools.
She graduated from Livingston High School and received her undergraduate degree in physical therapy from University of Connecticut. She went on to receive a master’s degree from Cornell University.
She is survived by her husband, Bernard, to whom she was married since 1970; two daughters, Deanna Goldstein and Shira Searle; her son, David; a brother, Harry Berger of Palmerton, Pa.; and two grandchildren.
Services were held Feb. 27 with arrangements by Bernheim-Apter-Kreitzman Suburban Funeral Home, Livingston. Memorial contributions may be made to Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center for Ovarian Cancer Research or Temple Beth Shalom’s Education Fund, Livingston.
