Editor’s rant against Trump

Editor’s rant against Trump

I found Gabe Kahn’s Garden State of Mind very disturbing (“Time cannot heal this wound,” July 9).

The majority of the piece, about Covid-19 and our experiences over the past four months, was basically to the point and spoke about things we all could agree on. But then Kahn let his personal animus toward our president come out.

I believe that everyone is entitled to his or her opinion and are free in our country to support and vote for whomever they chose. However, I strongly object to NJJN’s editor using this space for his uncalled-for rant against President Donald Trump. We get enough of that on cable news and the national press. Our local Jewish news outlet would do better to cover what’s important to all of us.

By the way, what does moving the embassy to Jerusalem have to do with Covid-19? NJJN can and should do better.
