Edna Coleman
Edna Coleman, 78, of Somerset died June 30, 2016. Born in Haifa, Israel, she resided in Matawan before moving to Somerset 13 years ago.
Prior to retiring in 2007, Mrs. Coleman was the director of education for Temple Rodeph Torah, Marlboro, where she worked for 25 years, was a member, and served as the school’s assistant founder and first principal.
Predeceased by her husband, Martin, in 1998, she is survived by two sons, Glen (Daryl Solomon) of Closter and Gil (Barbara) of Fort Collins, Colo.; and two grandchildren.
Services were held July 3 with arrangements by Mount Sinai Memorial Chapels, East Brunswick. Memorial contributions may be made to the Edna Coleman Israel Scholarship Fund, c/o Temple Rodeph Torah, 15 Mohawk Drive, Marlboro, NJ 07726.
