Edward M. Fink
Edward M. Fink, 76, of Somerset died Jan. 26, 2011.
Mr. Fink was a longtime patent attorney at Bell Laboratories and Bell Corp. and then in private practice.
He was very active in the Jewish community, serving as past president of Temple Sha’arey Shalom, Springfield.
He is survived by his wife, Rita; three sons, Jeffrey Fink of Hamilton, Steven Hamelburg of Westfield, and Mark Hamelburg of Potomac, Md.; two daughters, Andrea Weiss of East Brunswick and Vicki Umbro of Yardley, Pa.; and nine grandchildren.
Services were held Jan. 28 at Sha’arey Shalom with arrangements by Menorah Chapels at Millburn, Union.
Memorial contributions may be made to the ALS Association, Temple Sha’arey Shalom Rabbi’s Discretionary Fund, or Temple Beth El, Hillsborough.
