Ellen Silliman
Ellen Mandelbaum Silliman, 66, of Montville died March 12, 2012. Born and raised in Newark, she lived in West Orange for many years and in Montville for the past 14 years.
Ms. Silliman was most recently the director of client services at Franciscan Oaks Assisted Living, Denville.
She received her bachelor’s degree from Kean University, her MBA from Seton Hall University, and her MSW from New York University’s Wurzweiler School of Social Work.
She is survived by two sons, David and Gary Suskauer; her mother, Minna Mandelbaum; her brother, Howard Mandelbaum; and two grandchildren.
Services were held March 14 with arrangements by Bernheim-Apter-Kreitzman Suburban Funeral Chapel, Livingston. Memorial contributions may be made to the Seeing Eye Foundation of Morristown, the Overlook Hospital Foundation/Attn: Thomas Glasser Caregivers Center, or the Jewish National Fund.
