Florence Berkowitz
Florence Berkowitz, 95, of Manalapan died Dec. 23, 2012. She was born in Montreal and moved to Brooklyn after World War II, where she spent most of her adult life. She later lived in Deerfield Beach, Fla.
Mrs. Berkowitz was a bookkeeper, stenographer, and volunteer tax preparer.
Predeceased by her husband, David Hyman Berkowitz, she is survived by her son, Gary; her daughter, Ruth (Michael); a sister, Eileen; and two grandchildren.
Services were held Dec. 26 with arrangements by I.J. Morris Funeral Directors, Brooklyn.
