Florence Flaster
Florence Grace Rothman Flaster of Livingston died Sept. 5, 2014.
Mrs. Flaster was a teacher at West Orange High School, Fairleigh Dickinson University in Madison, and William Paterson College, Wayne.
She was president of the Livingston League of Women Voters. She was active in creating green spaces in Livingston and was a volunteer at Children’s Institute in Verona.
She ran summer day camps at Greenwood Swim Club and Stonybrook Day Camp.
She is survived by two daughters, Kathy Flaster Reynolds of Succasunna and Trish Flaster of Boulder, Colo., and her son, Rick Flaster of Mill Valley, Calif.
Services were held Sept. 7 at Temple B’nai Jeshurun, Short Hills. Memorial contributions may be made to Children’s Institute, Verona; Planned Parenthood, 434 West 33rd St., New York, NY 10001; or Temple B’nai Jeshurun.
