Hallie Noval

Hallie Noval, 27, of Cedar Grove, formerly of Montclair, died May 26, 2013.

Ms. Noval was employed at Yodle, an Internet-based company in New York City, as its benefits coordinator. Previously, she held human resource positions at Gucci and Giorgio Armani, after interning in Armani’s retail merchandising unit.

She received an MBA in Fashion Management and Entrepreneurship from LIM University and an undergraduate degree from Penn State University in psychology and business. She was a member of Psi Chi Psychology Honors Society, served as a teaching assistant, and competed in the Penn State Dance Marathon.

Professionally, she was a member of Fashion Connections, Luxury Lifestyle Professionals, Penn State Alumni Association, Rolling Rack, and Women’s Wear Daily.

She is survived by her parents, Marjorie and Stanley Noval of Cedar Grove; her aunt, Debbie (Joel) Kurtz; two uncles, Irwin (Gloria) Noval and Malvin Schwartz; and eight cousins.

Services were held May 30 with arrangements by J.L. Apter Memorial Chapels of Cedar Grove. Memorial contributions may be made to Taglit-Birthright Israel.
