Harold Kaye
Dr. Harold “Harry” Kaye, 98, of Tucson, Ariz., died March 30, 2015. He was born in Bayonne and lived in Verona for over 30 years.
Dr. Kaye, a dentist, served as a captain in the U.S. Army from 1941 to 1945 at the 57th Field Hospital.
He received his BS and DDS from the University of Michigan.
He was a member of the Lion’s Club for over 60 years, serving as Verona chapter president, and was president of Eyemobile and received the President’s Appreciation Award and Melvin Jones Fellow award for his service. He was also a member of Jewish War Veterans and the Tucson Jewish Community Center.
Predeceased by his wife, Goldie Clott Kaye, he is survived by two daughters, Andrea Kaye (Stuart) Shatken and Barbara Kaye (Peter A.) Marx; four grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
Services were held April 1 with arrangements by Evergreen Mortuary, Tucson.
