I know all about reading online, but some papers are so linked to my life and memories that any change is simply unthinkable. The pure sensory experience of handling the paper with its link to my very own history, and all the familiar names and faces gazing back at me, make this a grievous loss.
Dear, dear Jewish News, you made us the community we were. I don’t know of anyone from those unique and memorable days who didn’t read the paper cover to cover. I do know that even today there are those who cannot retrieve an online paper. They will sadly lose the precious connection. What a loss! Please come back home to us!
