Herman (Harry) Silverman, 89, of Union died Feb. 21, 2012.

Mr. Silverman overcame polio as a child.

Predeceased by his wife, Ruth, he is survived by his sister, Frances Levinson; his niece, Maris Horowitz; his nephew, Richard Levinson; and three great-nieces, Robyn Levinson, Melissa Levinson, and Alyson Horowitz.

Services were held Feb. 26 with arrangements by Fertig Funeral Home, Mullica Hill.
