Ida Shear
Ida Shear, 86, of Delray Beach, Fla., died June 2, 2012. She was born in Newark.
Prior to retiring, Mrs. Shear was a bookkeeper at Manhattan Welding, Hillside.
Predeceased by her husband, Bertram, last November, she is survived by her daughter, Karen Silverman of Freehold; her son, Neil of Scottsdale, Ariz.; and three grandchildren.
Services were held July 5 with arrangements by Bloomfield-Cooper Jewish Funeral Chapels, Manalapan. Memorial contributions may be made to Temple Shaari Emeth, 400 Craig Road, Manalapan, NJ 07726.
