The paternal grandparents are Bonnie and Howard Yares of Cherry Hill. The maternal great-grandparents are the late Constance (Connie) and Joseph Cohen and the late Roslyn and Irving Katronetsky. The paternal great-grandparents are Charlotte Yares of Cherry Hill and the late Abraham Yares, and the late Gertrude and Morris Kalmus. Yochai Mendel is named in memory of his maternal great-grandfather Joseph Cohen and paternal great-grandfather Morris Kalmus.
