Jack Frankel
Jack Frankel, 81, of Livingston died March 9, 2011. Born in Poland, he was a Holocaust survivor who came to the United States in 1946. He lived in Hillside and Newark before moving to Livingston 42 years ago.
Mr. Frankel was the owner of J and H Rainwear Company in New York City before he retired in 1996.
He was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War.
He was a member of the Cedar Hill Country Club and Temple B’nai Abraham of Livingston.
He is survived by his wife, Frances (Gomorrah); his son, Mark of Livingston; his daughter, Suzanne Nathin of Woodcliff Lake; a brother, Henry of Elizabeth; and five grandchildren.
Services were held March 11 with arrangements by Menorah Chapels at Millburn, Union. Memorial contributions may be made to the Livingston First Aid Squad or the Carol G. Simon Cancer Center at Morristown Memorial Hospital.
