Jeanette Rose
Jeanette Rose (Glucksman), 98, of Succasunna died May 21, 2014. She was born in Yonkers, NY, and grew up in Bedford Hills, NY. She raised her family in Pleasantville, NY, and moved after her husband’s retirement to Boynton Beach, Fla., for 20 years, before returning north.
Mrs. Rose was an elementary school teacher during World War II in Monticello, NY, and afterward in Bedford Hills.
She received her BA in elementary education from New York State University at New Paltz.
Predeceased by her husband of 60 years, Robert, she is survived by her daughter, Beryl (Lawrence) Lichter; her son, Matthew; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Services were held May 23 with arrangements by J.L. Apter Memorial Chapels of Dover.
