Jerome Avergun
Jerome Avergun, 85, of Toms River died Dec. 18, 2013. Born in Boston, he lived in Valley Stream, NY, for 35 years before moving to Toms River 20 years ago.
Mr. Avergun was a salesman with Pfizer, Inc. in New York City for over 40 years before retiring in 1993.
Predeceased by his wives Lola in 1995 and Nancy in 2012, he is survived by his son, David (Jodi) of Potomac, Md.; two daughters, Donna (Ned) Webber of East Brunswick and Jill Bloom of Ossining, NY; a brother, Jack Avergun of Mashpee, Mass.; a sister, Gloria Spacone; and six grandchildren.
Services were held Dec. 20 with arrangements by Bloomfield-Cooper Jewish Chapels, Ocean. Memorial contributions may be made to Beth Am Shalom, Lakewood.
