JFSCNJ plans December 16 gala
Jewish Family Service of Central New Jersey’s Gala Dinner is set for December 16 at the Crystal Plaza in Livingston. The buffet dinner will begin at 6 p.m.; the program, dessert, and auction kick off at 7:15.
The dinner, JFSCNJ’s main annual fundraiser, supports mental health services, nursing homecare, Holocaust survivors, and food insecurity programs that serve the Union County community.
Marty Indursky of Encon Mechanical Corp. will receive the Lilly K. Gottlieb award; Senator Nicholas P. Scutari, the president of the New Jersey State Senate, is the community service awardee; Eleanor Peris will get the Ruth Bilenker award for outstanding service, and Laura Weitzman will receive the Miriam S. Karch award for Lifetime Achievement.
