Joint service honors MLK

Temple Beth Am and Adath Shalom of Parsippany commemorated Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., at a joint Shabbat service conducted by Rabbi Moshe Rudin, with Cantors Bruce Ruben and Avim Rudavsky Darnov. The January 16 program also featured the shuls’ combined choirs, accompanied by Yuri Grichetchkine, TBA’s musical director.

Speakers Lt. Governor Tahesha Way and Theresa Maughan, 2022 New Jersey Teacher of the Year, spoke about Dr. King’s legacy. An Oneg Shabbat followed services.
