Julius Goldman
Julius Goldman, 94, of West Orange died June 12, 2017. He was born in Salem, Mass., and grew up in Boston. Prior to moving to New Jersey, he resided in Charlotte, NC, for 40 years.
For most of his professional career, Mr. Goldman was a sales executive in the chemical and dye industry.
He served as a medic in Great Britain during World War II.
In Charlotte, he was extremely active in his synagogue, serving on the board and as president of the ritual committee.
He is survived by his wife of 72 years, Mae; two sons, Shlomo (Chana) of New Square, NY, and Bruce (Hannah) of Denville; his daughter, Pamela (Bruce) Silberman of Columbus, Ohio; 17 grandchildren; 82 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
Services were held June 13 with arrangements by Jewish Memorial Chapel, Clifton. Memorial contributions may be made to Mount Freedom Jewish Center, Randolph.
