Julius Schechter
Julius “Jerry” Schechter, 80, of Ocean died July 18, 2018. Born in Manhattan, he lived in Newark, Irvington, Linden, and Summit before most recently settling in Ocean.
Before retirement, Mr. Schechter worked as an engineer for Magna Inc. for many years.
He was a U.S. Army veteran.
Predeceased by his first wife, Constance (Bujalski) Parker, and his second wife, Jacqueline (Lone) Schechter, he is survived by his daughter, Debra (Allan) Loiselle of Hazlet; and two grandchildren.
A celebration of life was held on July 25; arrangements were handled by Shore Point Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc.
