June Slavin

June Slavin, 83, of Plainsboro passed away May 16, 2018. Born and raised in Brooklyn, she previously resided in Groton, Mass.; Bayside, Queens; Wayne; and Miami Lakes and Aventura, Fla.

Mrs. Slavin, who attended Brooklyn College, was a Jewish community activist who served as a long-time volunteer at Jewish Community Services of South Florida. She was a member of Temple Sinai of North Dade in Miami and, more recently, The Jewish Center in Princeton.

She is survived by her husband of 64 years, Richard; two daughters, Mindy (Corey) Langer and Susan Slavin (Mark) Greenberg; two brothers, Michael Lippman and Yale Richard Lippman; two grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Services were held May 18 with arrangements by Orland’s Ewing Memorial Chapel, Ewing. Memorial contributions may be made to The Jewish Center of Princeton or to Jewish Community Services of South Florida.
