KAPLAN-KAUFMAN
Marci Ilene Kaplan, daughter of Janet and Kenneth Kaplan of Port Washington, NY, was married Nov. 18, 2012, to Alex Steven Kaufman, son of Sherryl and Mickey Kaufman of East Brunswick.
Rabbi Robert E. Fierstien and Cantor Baruch Blum performed the ceremony at the Royalton at the Roslyn Country Club in Roslyn Heights, NY.
The bride graduated from University of Rhode Island with a bachelor of arts in psychology. She holds a master’s degree in marriage and family therapy from Hofstra University, Hempstead, NY, and a master’s degree in social work from Fordham University, New York City. She is a social work clinician at the Stanford University Medical Center in Palo Alto, Calif.
Mr. Kaufman graduated from University of Pennsylvania with a bachelor of arts in philosophy and received his law degree with honors from Emory University, Atlanta. He is a mergers and acquisitions attorney in the Palo Alto office of Kirkland & Ellis LLP, a Chicago law firm.
After a honeymoon in Southeast Asia, the couple will reside in Menlo Park, Calif.
