Law symposium this week
Rabbi Shalom D. Lubin, the founder of the Jewish Law Symposium, will moderate a panel discussing “The Role of Truth in the Pursuit of Justice” at the Birchwood Manor in Whippany. The program, on Tuesday, September 16, will begin with dinner at 5 p.m.; the program is set for 6:30.
Presenters include Columbia Law School’s dean emeritus, David M. Schizer, a professor of law and economics; Philip R. Sellinger, Esq., former U.S. Attorney for the District of New Jersey; Hon. Freda L. Wolfson, partner in Lowenstein Sandler and former chief judge of the U.S. District Court for New Jersey; Kevin Marino, Esq., founding partner at Marino, Tortorella, & Boyle PC; and Rabbi Yona Reiss Esq., assistant chief rabbinical judge of the Beth Din of America. The program is a project of the Rabbinical College of America, Chabad SE Morris County.
