Leonard Seiden
Leonard “Lenny” Seiden, 91, of Verona died Feb. 26, 2020. Born in the Bronx, he grew up in Passaic, where he was president of his high school class and captain of the basketball team.
Due to his father’s illness, Mr. Seiden cut his college basketball career short in order to manage the family business, the Lincoln Hotel in Passaic. He became a real estate developer/entrepreneur, partnering with Lester Entin and Associates and remained an active businessman throughout his life.
He was an avid golfer at Crestmont Country Club, West Orange.
He is survived by his wife of 71 years, Iris (Bromberg); two daughters, Miriam Seiden of Lambertville and Lynn Seiden-Preminger (Robert) of Canton, Conn.; and a grandson.
Services were held Feb. 28 with arrangements by Jewish Memorial Chapel, Clifton.
