Marking a dual ordination
Temple Sholom of Scotch Plains holds a Shabbat of Celebration honoring the 18th ordination anniversaries of Rabbi Emily Losben-Ostrov and Cantor Darcie Sharlein. Both were ordained in May 2008.
It’s set for tonight, June 12, at 7:30 p.m. The celebration continues on Shabbat afternoon at 3 p.m., with “Chai Tea” at 3 p.m. Congregants and friends are welcome to send congratulatory messages that will be compiled into a special commemorative booklet presented to each of them.
