Martin Chodroff

Martin Howard Chodroff, 81, of Monroe Township died May 29, 2018. Born and raised in Brooklyn, he moved to East Brunswick in 1973 and to Monroe three years ago. 

Mr. Chodroff worked for many years as a sales representative with American Tourister Luggage. He owned and operated his own sales rep company, M & M Jester, and was named Salesperson of the Year many times by companies he represented. He retired in 2008. 

He graduated from New York University with a bachelor’s degree in business. 

He and his wife Maxine were founding members of B’nai Shalom in East Brunswick. He was a member of Anshe Emeth Memorial Temple, New Brunswick, and a member of the Minyan at the federation in East Brunswick for many years. 

He was an avid paddle ball enthusiast.

He is survived by his wife, Maxine (Savedoff); two sons, Michael and Philip; his daughter, Brenda (Evan) Turtz; a brother, Robert; and two grandchildren. 

Services were held May 31 with arrangements by Crabiel Parkwest Funeral Chapel, New Brunswick.
