Martin Prince
Martin “Marty” Prince, 81, of Livingston died Feb. 15, 2017.
Mr. Prince was the founder and CEO of the direct mail coupon company, Dollars for Shopping, which he started in the 1980s. Over the past 15 years, he owned a sports memorabilia company, SuperStar Greetings, which conducted private autograph signings with athletes and celebrities.
With a love of animals and woodland creatures, he was known in the community as “The Bird Man” and spent many weekends with his cockatoo, Kulani, on his shoulder at local parks.
He was president of the Asthmatic League, a charity to benefit research and a cure for those suffering with asthma.
He is survived by his wife, Andrea Eisenberg Prince; his daughter, Stacey Prince; his son, Darren Prince; and a sister, Carole Feltman.
Services were held Feb. 21 with arrangements by Bernheim-Apter-Kreitzman Suburban Funeral Chapel, Livingston.
