Martin Siegel
Martin Siegel, 94, of Belmar died Nov. 30, 2011. Born in Queens, he lived in Linden for 54 years before moving to Belmar seven years ago.
Mr. Siegel was an insurance agent with Prudential in Clark for 12 years before retiring 29 years ago.
He was a first lieutenant with the Military Police during World War II in the Pacific Theater.
He is survived by his wife of almost 70 years, Marjorie; two sons, Richard of Ocean Township and Alan of South Amboy; a sister, Ruth Rosenbaum of Chapel Hill, NC; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Services were held Dec. 1 with arrangements by Bloomfield-Cooper Jewish Chapels, Ocean. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
