Mental Health Brunch
THE COMMUNITY ACTION Committee of the Pine Brook Jewish Center (PBJC) hosted its second brunch for clients of the Mental Health Association of Morris & Essex Counties on Sunday, April 7. Fifteen young members of PBJC helped serve the 62 guests.
Prior to the start of the brunch, Mark Roffman, head of the Community Action Committee, spoke to the young volunteers about the importance of treating all people with dignity and respect.
“It’s nice to do something for people who can do nothing for you,” Roffman told them. “It will make you feel good inside.”
