Miriam Claire Ross
Miriam (“Micki”) Ross (Rudes), 96, of West Orange died May 19, 2014. Born in Brooklyn, she lived in West Orange for the last 10 years.
Until their retirement, Mrs. Ross and her husband were the owners of Davsam Fashions, Inc., a women’s clothing store and later a bridal salon in Queens.
Predeceased by her husband of more than 50 years, Sam, in 1997, she is survived by her son, Henry (Robbie) of Branchburg; two daughters, Joanne Doades of Philadelphia and Ronni Amishay of Brooklyn; seven grandchildren; and a great-granddaughter.
Services were held May 21 at Mount Hebron Cemetery, Queens. Memorial contributions may be made to Daughters of Israel, West Orange.
