Missile crisis
I was a teenager in 1961 during the Cuban missile crisis. Soviet nuclear weapons were aimed and ready for deployment from Cuba. I remember my father and uncle sitting at home with faces ashen, thinking of the end of the world after nuclear attack. Millions of people on both sides of the Atlantic Ocean could have died in a few hours.
Presently we could be in a similar situation if the Iran deal goes through. Israel would be in mortal danger, especially now that Russia plans to deliver the S-300 air defense missile system to Iran, providing it with a strong deterrent against any air attack.
The Iranian deal should not be ratified.
