Monroe Miron
Monroe Miron, 86, of West Orange died Aug. 1, 2011. Born in Elizabeth, he lived there for all of his life before moving to West Orange in 2002.
Mr. Miron was a maintenance worker for Wakefern Foods in Elizabeth for 31 years, retiring in 1991. Previously, he served in the same capacity for Cooper Alloy in Hillside for many years.
Predeceased by his wife, Helen (Horowitz), he is survived by his caretakers, his nephew and niece, Jerald and Jaclyn Baranoff of Cranford; and six additional nieces and nephews.
Services were held Aug. 3 with arrangements by Menorah Chapels at Millburn, Union. Memorial contributions may be made to Deborah Hospital of Browns Mills or Daughters of Israel.
