A few weeks ago, we ran some responses to our request for our readers’ memories of Grossinger’s. Here is another one:
The minute I saw the picture of the original Grossinger’s hotel in your article in last week’s paper, I knew I had to find the picture of my siblings and myself from the late 1970s, after arriving by station wagon from Cincinnati. My parents, my grandma, and us in one car and my aunt, uncle, and first cousins in another, all excited for the amazing kosher for Passover food we would be eating! There were no kosher restaurants in Cincinnati at that time, so it was a double treat for all of us. Thanks for the memories.
