Naum Flasburg
Naum Flasburg of Parsippany died March 14, 2012. Born in Ukraine, he lived in St. Petersburg, Russia, for many years before moving to the United States in 1996. He first settled in the Ivy Hill section of Newark before moving three years ago to Parsippany.
Mr. Flasburg had worked as a machinist in Russia.
He was a member of Circle of Friends of MetroWest and the Ivy Hill Congregation.
He is survived by his wife, Riva (Privem); his daughter, Marina Livshits of East Hanover; a brother, Joseph Flasburg of Israel; a sister, Faiga Nemerskaya of Newark; and two grandsons.
Services were held March 19 with arrangements by Ross’ Shalom Chapels, Whippany.
