Norma Handis Byer
Norma Handis Byer, 89, of Ewing died Jan. 19, 2011. Born in Trenton, she was a lifelong area resident.
Mrs. Byer was a graduate of Trenton State College.
She was a volunteer at St. Francis Medical Center and a member of Har Sinai Temple, the Jewish Community Center, and the Golden Age Club.
Predeceased by her husband, Fred, she is survived by a son, Theodore of Berkeley Heights; two daughters, Diane Byer of New York City and Jo Ellen Lipperini of Prompton, Pa.; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Services were held Jan. 21 with arrangements by Orland’s Ewing Memorial Chapel, Ewing. Memorial contributions may be made to Greenwood House, Ewing.
