Peggy Rosenbaum
Peggy Rosenbaum (Dinkelspeil), 89, of Merrick, NY, died Sept. 20, 2013. Born in New York, she grew up in Jersey City and raised her family in Brooklyn.
Mrs. Rosenbaum was a salesperson and customer service supervisor with Abraham and Straus at its flagship store in downtown Brooklyn prior to her retirement.
A passionate reader, she was a long-term patron of the Brooklyn Public Library.
Predeceased by her husband of 50 years, Max, she is survived by her son, Robert L. (Debra) of Summit; her daughter, Nancy Kassin (fiance Greg Parisi) of Merrick, NY; three grandchildren; and a great-granddaughter.
Services were held Sept. 22 with arrangements by Menorah Chapels at Millburn, Union.
