Recruiting volunteers for The Retired and Senior Volunteer Program
THE RETIRED AND Senior Volunteer Program (RSVP) for Union County, hosted by Jewish Family Service of Central NJ (JFS), is recruiting volunteers to help with various programs. Two RSVP information sessions will take place in March. The first one will be held Wednesday, March 20, 10 a.m.-1 p.m. at JFS Halpern Building, Elizabeth. The second session will take place on Tuesday, March 26, 11 a.m.-noon at Track Five Coffee, Cranford.
Volunteer opportunities for those age 55 and older include packing and delivering emergency food packages, visiting homebound seniors, tutoring children, assisting with GED/ESL programs, and more.
