It’s the talk of the town. Teaneck that is. Jersey pride.

New Jersey’s own Jon Bon Jovi’s video promoting a new single was filmed at several local businesses on Cedar Lane, including Cedar Market, Lark Street Music, and Teaneck Cinemas. Although it was shot two months ago, the video first debuted on YouTube on August 29, and so far it’s had more than half a million views.

“Red, White and Jersey” is the story of a young couple in love.

“We  had been contacted by the production company  a couple of months ago who told me it was for a Bon Jovi video,” Bernard Levine, the owner of Lark Street Music, said. “The  taping took a mere hour.

“Being an immigrant to Jersey. I was just never a big fan of Bon Jovi’s music, but the new single is very catchy,” he added. “I really like it.

“Good for Teaneck!”

The video shows the couple and their friends having a blast as they roll down the aisles in shopping carts at Cedar Market. “We’re so happy that we and Teaneck got the privilege to be included in this,” a team member for the supermarket said.
