Robin Chait Block
Robin Chait Block, 48, of Florham Park died June 18, 2012. She was born in Brooklyn and grew up in Melville, NY.
Mrs. Block had a dynamic sales career in the garment industry before becoming a housewife and mother. She worked as a substitute teacher in the Florham Park school system.
She graduated from Syracuse University with a degree in retailing and marketing. She was actively involved in many fund-raising efforts, most recently the New Jersey Prevention Network.
Predeceased by her father, Joel Chait, she is survived by her husband, Jonathan; her twins, Jordyn and Jake; her mother and stepfather, Suzan and Arnold Grandt of Boca Raton, Fla.; her grandparents Pearl and Charles Fruchtman of Melbourne, Fla.; and a brother, Ivan Chait of Merrick, NY.
Services were held June 20 with arrangements by Bernheim-Apter-Kreitzman Suburban Funeral Chapel, Livingston.
