Rubin Levenstein
Rubin Levenstein, 80, of Old Bridge died Sept. 10, 2010. Born in the Bronx, he lived in Old Bridge for over 42 years.
Mr. Levenstein was a pipefitter with Alpha Mechanical of New York City for over 40 years, retiring in 1995. He was a member of Local #638 Pipefitter of NYC.
He was an Army veteran of the Korean Conflict.
He was also a member of Congregation Beth Ohr of Old Bridge and Wendell Wilkie Lodge, #714 Knights of Pythias of Bronx.
Predeceased by his daughter, Caryn Katz, in 2006, he is survived by his wife of 53 years, Glenda (Jaffe); his son, Marc of Howell; his daughter, Phyllis Levenstein of Old Bridge; his son-in-law, Edward Katz of Marlboro; a brother, Abraham of Queens; and five grandchildren.
Services were held Sept. 13 with arrangements by Bloomfield-Cooper Jewish Chapels, Manalapan.
