Seymour Levine
Seymour Levine, 92, of Dover died May 19, 2019. He was born in the Bronx and moved to Dover in 1939.
Beginning in 1950, Mr. Levine served in the army doing photo intelligence interpretation. Pursuing his avid interest in photography, his first job was in a New York City photo lab printing pictures for noted photographers. He went on to start his own business taking wedding and portrait photos. He also had a 45-year career at Picatinny Arsenal. His work included nuclear weapon components and container design and he served as an international liaison with Asia and Europe. He was awarded three patents for military inventions.
Predeceased by his wife of 62 years, Pearl, in 2012, he is survived by two daughters, Sharon and Jackie, and a son in-law, Barry.
Services were held May 24 with arrangements by J.L. Apter Memorial Chapels of Dover. Memorial contributions may be made to Mount Sinai Cemetery.
